	Camera Heads
	BROKEN PIN IN CABLE: Rewire with new connectors and test. SPOTS: Disassemble, clean camera chip and test. INTERFERENCE WHERE CORD MEETS HEAD: Rewire the new cable and soak cap assembly. Replace connectors and O-rings, reseal and test. DIAGNOSTIC CHECK: Test per quality control document.

 

	Camera Control Unit
	BROKEN PINS: Replace receptacle and test. BAD CONNECTION: Replace connectors, S-VHS cable and receptacles and test.

 

	Endocouplers
	FOGGED OR LEAKING: Disassemble, clean, replace damaged O-rings, reseal and test. BLADES WILL NOT GRASP: Replace bent blades, adjust lock lever and test. WORN ENDOCOUPLER: Replace grasper body with set screw and test. STIFF FOCUS KNOB: Replace O-ring and test.

 

	Laparoscopes
	FOGGED OR LEAKING: Polish tip, disassemble, replace objective, reassemble and test. CRACKED LENS: Polish tip, disassemble, replace objective, reassemble and test. NOT FOCUSING: Polish tip, disassemble, replace objective, adjust rod lens, reassemble and test. SCRATCHED LENS: Polish tip, disassemble, replace cover glass, reassemble and test.

 

	Lightsource
	DIM LIGHT: Clean lens, filter and adjust current to lamp and test. WILL NOT FIRE UP: Replace ignitor and lamp assembly and test. IRIS FAILURE: Replace lamp assembly and actuators and test. DARK EDGES: Clean lens, filter and adjust current to lamp and test.

 

	Laparoscopic Instruments
	DOES NOT CAUTERIZE: Re-insulate and replace tip. INSULATION COMING OFF: Re-insulate. WILL NOT OPEN OR CLOSE: Repair/replace linkage and/or jaws. Re-insulate. NEEDS SHARPENING: Sharpen.

 

	Fiber Optic Cable
	BROKEN FIBER OR CHIPPED END: Repair, re-bundle and re-sleeve.
